On 19 November 2017, I made the decision to rebuild my life. Addiction had taken its toll — but recovery, accountability, and faith reshaped everything. What began as survival became purpose.
That journey gave me a deep understanding of resilience, trauma, and personal transformation — insight I now bring into the mission-driven organisations I support.
Today, I lead Higgins Recovery Group with a simple mission:
to elevate the recovery and mental health workforce by connecting purpose-driven people with the organisations that change lives.
My lived experience is not my identity — it’s my advantage.
